Hagen Gourmet is an enrichment food ideally intended for adult guinea pigs, and should not be offered to young guinea pigs.
Alfalfa based pellets are very rich, therefore should be provided in limited quantities. A healthy based diet and unlimited access to fresh water and Timothy hay or healthy grasses should be offered daily.
